REGIONAL CONTROLLER

EdisonLearning works with educators and communities to improve public schools and boost student performance. We are seeking a Regional Controller in our southeastern region.
Responsible for our Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida region, you will serve as the financial leader of our Regional Team. Your hands-on approach to business will be vital as you balance detailed financial and strategic responsibilities. Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will work directly with client schools and districts on all financial matters.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing budgets
- Monitoring monthly financial performance
- Reporting financial results in compliance with statutory requirements
- Coordinating efforts of outside auditors with client and EdisonLearning staff
- Partnering with school principal to supervise School Operations Manager
- Advising the Regional General Manager and clients on financial matters that impact operating performance
To qualify for this position, you must:
- Have experience in the education sector
- Have strong Accounting experience, preferably K-12 or other governmental setting (CPA preferred)
- Have experience in Federal Grants Compliance and Reporting
- Ideal candidate will be based in Louisiana
